Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful’s 20th Annual “Clean & Green” Effort: Wrap-Up Event

Keep Mohawk Valley Beautiful (KMVB), an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, will be hosting a wrap-up event in partnership with the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired at 10:00 AM on October 20th. At this event, we will announce the results and impact of the 20th annual Clean & Green effort.

The event will be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 10:00 AM at 2270 Dwyer Ave in Utica, NY – CABVI’s Warehouse and Distribution Center.

The event will be held indoors, and will have several local leaders, including Mayor Palmieri, presenting on the impact that the KMVB regional Clean & Green effort has on the community, with specifics about the results of the 2021 clean-up.

KMVB, in partnership with the Mohawk Valley Economic Development District, the Genesis Group, the City of Utica, the Oneida-Herkimer Solid Waste Authority and the Central Association for the Blind & Visually impaired, offers an annual opportunity for members of our community to come together to clean up roadways, waterways and parks. Hundreds of volunteers participate annually to clean up local neighborhoods and communities across a 6-county region. Their time and effort create an immediate and significant environmental benefit to our region – and is something that should be applauded.

KMVB would like to thank all of the volunteers that participated in the event this year.

KMVB volunteers, interested community members, local leaders and media/news outlets are welcome to join us at this event.
