Karen Refugee Academic Standout Interns for Lockwood Law. Heads to Albany State in the Fall

 

Moo Toh Taw is a graduate of Proctor High School class of 2016 and received her associate degree in Criminal Justice from Herkimer County Community College in the spring of 2018.

Moo was the Commencement speaker for the class of 2018 where she went on to tell her story. She was born and raised in the Maela Refugee camp in Thailand. Moo came to this country in September 2007 when she was 8 years old. She is also a student of the On Point For College Program.

She has been accepted at SUNY at Albany for the fall of 2018 where she intends to major in Criminal Justice and minor in Political Science.

This summer she is interning at the law offices of Stephen L. Lockwood, P.C at 285 Genesee St. Utica NY 13501 as part of the Oneida Workforce Development intern program.
