Justice for Robert Brooks: Rally Against Police Brutality at Marcy Correctional Facility
(Utica, NY) – On Saturday, January 11, Citizen Action of New York, advocates and community members will come together to mourn, express anger, and demand justice for Robert Brooks and all victims of police brutality who have suffered at the hands of a system that too often lacks humanity and accountability.
On December 9, 2024, Robert Brooks was brutally murdered by corrections officers at the Marcy Correctional Facility. This act of violence and the lack of accountability for such atrocities are a horrific reflection of systemic issues in American institutions.
