John Mannion Releases New Ad “Not Safe” Exposing Brandon Williams’ Support for Extreme Anti-Abortion Legislation
Syracuse, NY — Today, NYS Senator John Mannion’s campaign released a new ad entitled “Not Safe,” which highlights Congressman Brandon Williams’ extreme stance on abortion rights. Despite Williams’ parsed claims to the contrary, his actions in Congress paint a different picture—one that includes endorsing national abortion bans with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the protection of the mother’s life.
The new campaign ad features Leslie B., a nurse working in NY-22, describing how MAGA extremists have effectively banned abortion in 22 states since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, and how Brandon Williams’ voting record and policy pursuits in Congress threaten women’s reproductive rights. This messaging underscores Williams’ support for the Republican Study Committee’s (RSC) 2025 Budget proposal, which includes a federal ban on abortion without any exceptions, as well as IVF and forms of contraception.

In Congress, I will pass a national abortion law that restores the rights that American women had for fifty years under Roe v. Wade.”
