Of the 125 finalists, five will receive regional awards and there is one grand prize winner; Buczkowski is truly among the few. One of her nominations was from a close friend who said,

As part of this honor, the Nexstar Charitable Foundation generously awarded a $1,000 donation to Golisano Center for Special Needs at Upstate Hospital in Syracuse, New York, chosen by Buczkowski, allowing them to expand their mission to help families with loved ones who have special needs manage their complex medical issues.
The entire experience was shared during a special national broadcast on The CW Network, aired on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
