Hoosick Falls police chief suspended

Hoosick Falls Mayor Rob Allen said Friday morning that Police Chief Robert Ashe has been suspended.

Allen’s statement said Ashe is “suspended with pay due to an ongoing criminal investigation being conducted by the New York State Police.” Officer Bernard Davock, per Allen’s statement, will serve as “officer in charge” of the department.

Allen noted that it is “a personnel matter.”
