SUNY officials will join Herkimer College leaders and students to highlight the benefits and expansion of the Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) program, a transformative two-year model that has been widely demonstrated to increase student completion rates and narrow opportunity gaps.
Participating ASAP students will share their stories of how the program, which includes financial assistance, personalized academic advising, career development, and community-building activities, is helping them be successful at Herkimer College.
This proven national student success model is funded through the $75 million SUNY Transformation Fund, championed by Governor Kathy Hochul and the state Legislature as part of an historic investment of state resources in the SUNY system. The programs further SUNY’s pillars of advancing student success and upward mobility through broadening access to a quality, affordable higher education.
