Utica, N.Y. — The Half Moon Orchestra, a community chamber ensemble founded in 2022 and based in Oriskany, N.Y., will return to Munson for its third year of holiday performances. Following two consecutive sold-out concerts, the orchestra will present two enchanting programs this season, offering even more opportunities for audiences to enjoy its festive repertoire featuring a few guest vocalists. The first show will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, and the second will be a matinee show at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, both in the Museum’s Root Court in downtown Utica. featuring a captivating vocal quartet presented by Chelsea Arts Live. Tickets are available at munson.art/special-events and are $10 for Munson Members, $15 for the general public, and $5 for students.

The Half Moon Orchestra, conducted by Michael DiMeo, focuses on providing accessible concerts to everyone, including those who might not typically experience the joy of live orchestral music.
