Bring your curiosity and your questions! Join professional genealogist Pamela Vittorio to learn about the many ways to find your roots using traditional and hidden resources. This workshop includes 2 presentations, door prizes, and light refreshments. Part 1, Unlocking the Mystery in Your Family History, explores how hidden resources including photos, heirlooms, and other artifacts, can be used to contribute to your story. Part 2, Fantastic Records and Where to Find Them, explains how you can use canal records to find information about your ancestors who may have lived or worked along the Erie Canal.
