One Wegmans in Fayetteville is working together with Syracuse University Athletics to make sure they eat right along the way.
Wegmans in DeWitt hosted a pep rally on Saturday for student athletes.
At the rally, students were taught about healthy snack options and given demonstrations on how to cook healthier.
Tickets to the Syracuse vs Morgan State Women’s Basketball game were donated to several local community organizations that help young people of color.
Attending students took part in games to win tickets and a raffle for a Wegman’s gift basket.
Through this partnership, Wegmans aims to bring awareness both to healthier lifestyles and women’s athletics.
