RHINEBECK, NY — On April 4th, Delgado for Congress announced that 11,131 petition signatures were delivered to the New York State Board of Elections for Rep. Antonio Delgado’s reelection in New York’s 19th Congressional District. With a threshold of 1,250 petition signatures to get on the 2022 ballot, Congressman Delgado has exceeded the requirements almost nine times over.
“Filing such a substantial number of petitions for reelection is a true honor, and I’m thankful for everyone who mobilized, worked hard to knock on doors, talked to their neighbors, and delivered such incredible results,” said Congressman Antonio Delgado. “Each and every signature delivered this week demonstrates the power of on-the-ground, grassroots support in NY-19’s upstate communities who I look forward to continuing to serve in Congress.”
Delgado for Congress collected signatures from all 12 counties in New York’s 19th Congressional District. In the November election, the district will include all of Columbia, Delaware, and Greene counties, and parts of Albany, Broome, Chenango, Dutchess, Madison, Oneida, Otsego, Rensselaer, and Ulster counties.
