Debate for Utica City School District Board of Education Candidate

A free-admission, open-to-the-public debate for the four candidates vying for the one open seat on the Utica City School District Board of Education will be held Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., in the Main Gallery of the Oneida County History Center, (OCHC), located at 1608 Genesee Street, Utica, New York.  All four candidates– Robert Cardillo, Braedon Nanna, James Paul, and William True–have confirmed they will be participating.  A team of panelists will pose questions to the candidates, while members of the public will have a chance to submit their own questions and get their questions answered during the last segment of the debate. The debate is being co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Utica/Rome Metropolitan Area, the Oneida County branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, (NAACP), and the Mohawk Valley Latino Association, (MVLA).  The intention of the sponsors is to educate the public on the views of the candidates so they can make an informed choice before the May 21st school board election.

Note that the Oneida County History Center is fully accessible, with parking adjacent to the building and on the street.
