Utica, NY. The Christmas/Holiday season is a joyous time of the year.  We celebrate with our families and friends sharing our love, providing hope, singing songs, and giving gifts. We have specially prepared holiday meals and delicious desserts. But many people, holidays especially in these challenging times with the coronavirus-COVID-19, full of stress, maybe only a wish and not a reality when you cannot afford the Food for The special Christmas dinners. Parents/Caregivers also worry about not having money to buy presents for children and others who are very special to us.

The Johnson Park Center (JPC) Food Pantry will assist low-income families, children, the elderly, and individuals create a wonderful and memorable loving Christmas with the JPC Free Food Give-A-Way with Christmas Presents. We invite you to The Christmas Free Food and Presents Give-A-Way, on Mon, December 13, and Tue, December 14, from 3 pm to 6 pm “Rain-Snow or Shine,” at the JPC Food Pantry located in the 1400 Block of West Street, Utica, NY 13501.

This is a Walk-Up Event! If you are driving, you will need to park your car. Parking is available. JPC staff, volunteers, and all participants will wear face masks. Social distancing will be encouraged.

All Parents/Caregivers and Single Adults must have John(JPCFPC).  We will have registration on the event days for Parents/Caregivers and Adults who do not have a JPCFPC. All participants will complete and sign the JPC Food Pantry Plus Statistics documentation. You will be given Tickets based on your registered household members living with you on your JPCFPC. Everyone is welcome. We are not limited by territory or a boundary area. We are the only designated Food Pantry open in the late afternoon & evening hours media, text, email, or call them to come to the JPC Food Pantry on Mon, December 13, and Tue, Dec14, to receive the Food and Christmas Presents.

Along with Christmas Presents, Food Items that may be given to the community, shrimp, chicken, hamburger helper, vegetable oil, string cheese, yogurt, mac & cheese, green beans, soup, peaches, fresh produce, fresh fruit, walnuts, bread, etc. This event is on a first-come, first-served basis.
