NY – State and local lawmakers and SUNY system leaders will join members of the SUNY
Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) campus community on October 1 from 9-10 a.m., to highlight the benefits and expansion of the Advancing Completion through Engagement (ACE) program, a transformative four-year model that has been widely demonstrated to increase student completion rates and narrow opportunity gaps.
There are 150 SUNY Poly students enrolled in the program, utilizing services that include financial assistance, personalized academic advising, career development, and community-building activities, which will help them be successful in their degree pursuits.
This proven national student success model is funded through the $75 million SUNY Transformation Fund, championed by Governor Kathy Hochul and the state Legislature as part of an historic investment of state resources in the SUNY system. The program furthers SUNY’s pillars of advancing student success and upward mobility through broadening access to a quality, affordable higher education.
