[Gloversville, NY] Join us on April 22nd at 3:00 p.m. at the Bandshell in Sir William Johnson Park in Johnstown for a celebration honoring all those affected by crime in Fulton County. The ceremony will kick off local recognition of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week which is one part of Crime Victims Awareness Month.

What: Crime Victims Awareness Ceremony

When:  April 22,2024 (Monday) / Ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m.

Why:

“Crime victims are so much more than the act they suffered,” said Amanda Anderson, Director of the Domestic Violence Program of Fulton County, a program of The Family Counseling Center. “Victims of crime and their families have long-term effects from that crime. The process of finding justice is long but the process of healing from that crime may take a lifetime.
