To Our Employer Partners:
As you are likely aware, Utica College has ceased all on-ground instruction for the remainder of the spring semester and has converted all courses to online. Likewise, The Center for Career and Professional Development has implemented a completely remote working format. We have cancelled all in-person events and our off-campus visitations. Although Utica College students and staff are working remotely, we are still continuing to provide services and support.
There are several ways in which you can continue to recruit and engage with students.
If you have opportunities for our students, you may still post them to UC Career Connect
(www.utica.edu/uccareerconnect), where students may access them. We will also be
marketing them to the appropriate audiences.
We encourage you to schedule remote interviews with students if at all possible. Many of
our employers use Google Hangout video, Skype, web-based meeting platforms
(GoToMeeting, Webex, etc.), as well as telephone.
We can assist you in coordinating virtual presentations with students using Utica College’s Webex platform. Alternatively, we can help market any virtual events you already have scheduled.
We will still be active on Twitter and Instagram to advertise openings or events you may
have available to students. Join other employers by connecting with us on these platforms.
Our handle for both is @uccareerdevelop. We’ll connect with your organization, too!
We are still accessible by email and telephone, and we can video chat as needed. For education, healthcare, public service, and technology industries, email Kailea Murray at
kemurray1@utica.edu or call (315) 792-3409. For business, communication, media,
entertainment, arts, human services, science, and math industries, email Mike Badolato at
mibadola@utica.edu or call (315) 792-3387.
We value our relationships with you and look forward to continued collaborations! Please reach out to us with any suggestions or ways we can assist you. As always, thank you for your continued support of Utica College students and our programs.
Sincerely,
Kailea Murray, Assistant Director of Employer Relations
Mike Badolato, Employer Relations Coordinator
