The 29-year-old musician faced charges of reckless endangerment and assault after a 2018 brawl at a New York strip club. She is scheduled to appear in court next week.
But Cardi clearly remains confident in her future, considering her recent success. In August, her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy from 2018 became the first album from a female rapper to spend 175 weeks on the Billboard 200, Hypebeast reports.
Cardi was recently featured on Lizzo’s newest single, “Rumors,” which landed at No. 1 and No. 4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Billboard Hot 100 charts respectively, according to Billboard.
