Brunson Search Warrants
On Friday, September 27th, 2024, the Detectives division of the Rome Police Department,
executed several search warrants with the assistance from investigators of Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, and New York State Police. The search warrant was related to a “Shots Fired” investigation that occurred in the 400 block of East Bloomfield Street in Rome, New York on August 24th, 2024 at 4:00 AM. During the investigation, Anthony Brunson was identified as the suspect. Subsequently, Brunson was taken into custody. Brunson is charged with New York State Penal Law sections 110.00/120.10 (Attempted Assault in the First Degree) 265.03 (Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree) and 120.25 (Reckless Endangerment in the First Degree). Brunson was transported to Rome Police Department, processed, arraigned, and is being held in the Oneida County Jail.
