Willson, who was from Chertsey, a London suburb, was next to his girlfriend when he was shot in Brookhaven, Ga., at around 2 a.m. “I looked at him and started saying, ‘Mat are you ok?’ And saw, in the darkness … that he had started to slump over,” his girlfriend told a local TV network. “And so I started to turn on the lights and saw that he had been shot in the head.”
