Boilermaker Road Race Announces First Priority Registration Period

UTICA, N.Y. (July 28th, 2025)-The Boilermaker Road Race will open up a special priority registration
period for eligible runners starting Monday, August 4th at 10:00 AM. This allows participants in either the
Boilermaker 15K presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield or the 5K presented by Utica National to
register for either distance in the 2026 Boilermaker Road Race.

“With the positive vibes still resonating from the 48th running of the Boilermaker, we are offering all
those who contributed to its success the opportunity to register for the 2026 Boilermaker at Priority Tier 1
Pricing which has not increased since 2015.” said Boilermaker President Mark Donovan. “The Boilermaker holds a unique position in the road racing industry with close to 75% of our participants returning year after year. This limited time offer is perfectly suited to those who are positioned to be in a position to lock down their plans for the 2nd Sunday in July 2026”.

The price for this priority registration period has remained unchanged since 2015, rewarding prior
Boilermaker participants for their loyalty to the race. Registration will remain open until Sunday, August
10th at 11:59 pm. All runners eligible for this period will receive an email to the email address they
provided when registering for the 2025 Boilermaker with more details on registration.

Last year, the Boilermaker hit both caps in the 15K and 5K races ahead of race week, with well over
fifteen thousand runners committing to run the races. The cap for each race will be announced in early
2026, before registration opens up for all. For more registration information, visit boilermaker.com.

Recognized as the “Best 15K in the USA”, the Boilermaker Road Race is in its 49th year. The Boilermaker, a proud member of the PRRO Circuit, is the premier event of Boilermaker Weekend. The race consistently attracts elite runners from all over the world, including Olympians and world record holders, and features distance running’s most enthusiastic fans, as well as the sport’s best post-race party, hosted by The F.X.
