Boilermaker Announces 2025 Race Registration Plans

  • Registration

    • Priority registration opens Monday, January 13 at 10 a.m. and runs through Sunday, January 26 at 11:59 p.m.

    • Open registration begins Monday, January 27 at 10 a.m. until race caps are met.

  • Race Caps:

    • 15K presented by Excellus BlueCross Blue Shield: 10,500

      • Over 3,500 already registered

    • 5K presented by Utica National: 4,500

      • Over 700 already registered

  • Utica National Kids Run and the Boilermaker Walk presented by Slocum-Dickson Medical Group

    • Registration information & caps to be announced in spring 2025

UTICA, N.Y. (January 6, 2025) – The Boilermaker Road Race has announced key registration dates for its 48th edition, with priority registration opening on January 13 exclusively for 2024 race registrants. Open registration begins January 27 and will remain open until caps are met. The Boilermaker employs the use of a tiered pricing structure whereby those who register early are rewarded with the best available pricing.

The 15K presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield will have a capacity of 10,500, a 5% increase over the 2024 cap. The 5K presented by Utica National continues with its normal capacity of 4,500.

The Boilermaker Health and Wellness Expo presented by Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) will take place at the Utica Campus of Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) for Boilermaker weekend. The expo will be open on Friday, July 11, from noon to 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 12, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In addition to packet pickup, the expo features healthy living information, a wide array of vendors, Boilermaker merchandise, and more.
