Founded in 1988, Blueprints has spent decades exciting crowds with a powerful blend of original tracks and revitalized blues and swing standards. Known for Liddy’s driving piano work and Deveny’s explosive slide guitar technique, the band has built a reputation as a premier force in the Central New York music scene. Their acclaimed 1993 album, “House of Cards,” remains a benchmark of their enduring legacy.
Over their storied career, Blueprints has shared the stage as an opening act for legendary blues icons, including Sonny Landreth, Luther “Guitar Jr.” Johnson (of the Muddy Waters Band), and The Nighthawks.
The late Michael Packer, former Director of the NY Blues Hall of Fame, previously noted the mandatory appeal of the band’s live sound, stating, “If you never heard George play, you should!”
“I can’t get enough of hearing Dave Liddy tickling the ivories, none better in the CNY area.” – Greg Spencer, President, Blue Wave Records; Producer, Great Salt City Blues Concert.
