Utica — Auditions are being held for actors who wish to be cast in the upcoming play, “Utica
Boo! A Haunted Who Dunnit. The auditions are Saturday, August 2nd from 5-7pm and Sunday,
August 3rd from 5-7 at the Players of Utica Theater 1108 State Street in Utica.
The play will be performed on October 23rd and 25th at the Oneida County History Center. All
funds raised from the performances will go for the programs and services of the Oneida County
History Center. The play is being directed by Debbie Martin, assisted by the play author, Dennis
Webster.
Utica Boo! is a fun way to learn about the history of our area as the characters are historical
ghosts of Utica’s past to including Chester Gillette, Roscoe Conkling, Mary Runkle, Roxy Druse,
and more. There are also mortal parts of a gypsy fortune teller and a wisecracking historian. For
