WHAT
Assemblywoman Marianne Buttenschon will join with local partners to announce the launch of her 6th Annual Winter Accessories & Food Drive; an effort that has brought warmth, comfort, and nourishment to countless Mohawk Valley families over the years.
This year, the drive is expanding beyond hats, gloves, mittens, socks and scarves for children and adults. At the request of local food pantries, the Assemblywoman is also inviting donations of food items including: pasta and cereal. All items must be NEW.
For the first time, the initiative will be supported not only by the Utica Comets, Save of the Day Foundation, and Utica City Football Club, but also by Hannaford Supermarkets and our community’s dedicated first responders.
