They say they’re anticipating an increase in flu virus cases this winter with fewer people getting flu shots. They’re warning doctors to be on the lookout for cases and encouraging them to offer the vaccine to all those who are eligible.
This comes after a mild flu season last year when many were staying home.
Flu vaccines are available to anyone 6 months of age and older.
CVS and Walgreens stores are offering same-day appointments for flu shots.
