Rome, NY, Immediate Release: -The Rome Art and Community Center’s Artletics summer program is in full swing and the children are having a ton of fun. Each week’s activities are designed around a theme. In honor of the holiday, last week’s theme was America. The older children wrote and delivered speeches as if they were famous American’s of our past. The audience heard from the Wright Brothers, Susan B Anthony, Abraham Lincoln and many more.
This week the theme is Dinosaurs. On Thursday, the children will be sculpting their own dinosaur bones. The program runs Monday – Thursday and will continue until August 16th. There are still spots available during between July 23 – August 9. The themes for those weeks are Disney, Olympic and Nickelodeon.
