Mohawk Knights of Columbus Council 579 member Vincent A. Enea presented a $1,000 donation to Paul Frezza, coordinator at the Food Pantry of the Herkimer Salvation Army. The Salvation Army of Herkimer services include a food pantry, soup kitchen, fresh produce giveaway, supper club, as well as various worship and church opportunities. The pantry serves residents of the Herkimer-Mohawk area and is facing an immediate $10,000 shortfall in funding as it struggles to meet steady, high demand, according to the coordinator Paul Frezza.
