Mohawk Valley Community College will host a series of virtual sessions this May to help local adults learn how they may qualify for a tuition-free college degree through SUNY Reconnect, a state-funded initiative designed to expand opportunities for adult learners in high-demand careers.
Through SUNY Reconnect, adults ages 25 to 55 who have not yet earned a college degree can attend MVCC tuition-free when they enroll in career-driven associate degree programs across a variety of growing industries. Programs were selected by the governor’s office based on workforce demand across New York State. A complete list of eligible MVCC programs is available at freecc.mvcc.edu.
Each half-hour appointment will be held via Zoom. Prospective students are welcome to register for one of the following time slots:
- Friday, May 1, 2026: 1:30-2 p.m., 2-2:30 p.m., or 2:30-3 p.m.
