Rome, NY — [11/13/25] — The Connected Initiative in collaboration with Oneida County
DSS and the Connected Rome CSD is hosting “Connected County Spaghetti Dinner” to
provide a free meal that is open to all community members of the greater Mohawk Valley.
Recognizing the ongoing struggles that we are all currently experiencing, especially
surrounding food insecurity and financial uncertainty, The Connected Initiative, Oneida
County Department of Children and Family Services, and The Connected Rome City
School District wish to invite all community members to enjoy a complimentary spaghetti
meal. This is intended to be an opportunity to demonstrate the resilience of the greater
Mohawk Valley community; a chance to gather together in recognition of the strength that is present when we are connected and united in a common goal.
On Wednesday November 19th, please join us at Connected Strough Middle School from
6:00pm until 8:00pm in the cafeteria for a meal featuring spaghetti with sauce, bread and
butter, mixed fruit, assorted drinks, and cookies for dessert. All are welcome to join us for a
sit down meal with your fellow community members, or to take a meal to go.
