Proctor High School Navy Junior ROTC Cadet wins D.A.R, Award
at Lafayette 200 fete at Doubletree Hotel

Utica NY June 10 ….Victoria Gomez, earlier named “Most Distinguished Cadet”
by the Thomas R Proctor High School Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training
Corps, received the Daughters of the American Revolution Bronze Medal in a
ceremony at the Doubletree Hotel Utica Lafayette 200 celebration.

Proctor NJROTC Director Mark Williamson addressed the attendeees about
the Navy ROTC program and received a D.A.R Certificate of Appreciation on
behalf of the unit from Oneida Chapter Regent, Leslie Raney

Regent Raney followed the Proctor award by turning the crowd’s
attention to ,a beaming Cadet Gomez as she bequeathed the Proctor Cadet
the D.A.R award as ROTC Bronze Medal Award Winner.
