Music fans are giddy with excitement after seeing the new trailer for the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show, which will feature Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. Dr. Dre, who is directing the performance, was featured in the trailer giving a phone call to the artists, bringing them together for the Super Bowl halftime show at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
Straight Outta Compton filmmaker F Gary Gray, who directed the trailer, said something amazing always happens when he works with Dr. Dre.
“Each time I collaborate with Dre, it seems to mark an important moment in entertainment history, from projects like Friday, Set It Off, Straight Outta Compton, to now the Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show,” Gray said in a statement, according to Rolling Stone. “As a super fan, I consider it an honor and privilege to authentically build and create this moment with five of the most legendary artists in music history. It’s been a blast!”
The Super Bowl will kick off on Feb. 13.
