Social media is calling for Judge Michelle Odinet to be removed from her duties after audio of her calling a black man a n*gger and roach surfaces online.
Judge Michelle Odinet claims that her family was involved in an “armed burglary” at their home in the upscale area of Bendel Gardens.
The suspect has been identified as Ronald Handy. He has been arrested and charged with two counts of simple burglary, police said. He is currently in the Lafayette Parish Jail on a $10,000 bond. Handy had no weapon on him when police arrested him.
Many people are calling for her resignation and also want every conviction involving a black defendant to be reviewed.
