SoCal power punk band Lit to perform rescheduled concert at MVCC in Utica

SoCal ’90s power punk band Lit will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in Schafer Theater, Wilcox Hall, at Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica. Tickets, which are $15 general, $10 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students, can be purchased online at www.mvcc.edu/tickets. Please note that this is a rescheduled event; tickets purchased for the original date will be honored.

Lit is considered one of the preeminent bands to have come out of the post-grunge era of the late ’90s, helping to define a generation of SoCal power punk with hard-charging hits like “My Own Worst Enemy,” “Miserable,” “Zip-Lock,” and “Lipstick & Bruises.” The band has released six studio albums worldwide, including their RIAA certified platinum “A Place in the Sun.” Learn more at litband.com.

Please note that for the safety and well-being of MVCC students, employees, and guests, only those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be permitted. Individuals not currently eligible for a vaccine (i.e. children under 12) cannot currently attend on-campus events within campus facilities. Guests must show proof of vaccination using the digital New York State COVID-19 Vaccination Excelsior Pass or show the official hard copy of their COVID-19 vaccination card. All guests also must wear facial coverings/masks regardless of being fully vaccinated.
