Art in Bloom: April 16 through 18
UTICA, NY…The Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute Museum of Art is pleased to present “Art in Bloom,” an extraordinary exhibition of fine art and flowers featuring the Museum’s collection and stunning fresh-flower creations by local floral professionals, designers, artists, and garden club members. Fourteen Floral arrangements will be on view throughout the Museum’s galleries. Each will present a creative interpretation of a work of art.

The weekend will include floral demonstrations, a guest speaker, afternoon tea at the Terrace Café, and an “Art in Bloom“ Pop-Up Shop.
Ribbons and plaques will be awarded in four categories. There will be one award for each category by a panel of National Garden Club Flower Show judges, as well as one in each category by people’s choice. Visitors can vote for their favorites Friday and Saturday. Winners will be announced Sunday.
All “Art in Bloom” proceeds support Museum of Art education programs.
