3rd Annual Peace Carol

On December 11th, a group of twenty-five members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Utica, raised voices in the brisk winter weather at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument on Oneida Square.

Singing songs of the season, they shared an understanding of their shared humanity, This year, they chose a site where many were able to hear their voices clearly and respond with their own wishes of good will and appreciation for the Peace Carolers of World War I. They sang in hope of a future where all live in peace and love.

It is through these small acts to build better tomorrows that they bring balance to the words of anger and fear that monopolize our daily lives, and attempt to separate us, while dimming our inner source of Strength and Joy.
