SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) will host a press conference to announce a major federal
defense research award that will significantly expand the institution’s leadership in advanced
research, artificial intelligence, and national security-focused initiatives.
Joined by federal, state, and local elected officials, as well as representatives from government and
industry, SUNY Poly will highlight one of the largest federal research investments in the institution’s
history. The announcement is part of SUNY Poly’s SPARK Research Workshops, a weeklong series
showcasing the university’s research excellence, strategic partnerships, and emerging areas of
scholarly and applied research.
