The Mohawk Valley Latino Association is the host and Co-Hosting is
Assembly Member, Marianne Buttenschon, are inviting the public to a
great opportunity for the Latino community to celebrate their Hispanic
Heritage, and to foster the cultural exchange between the different
ethnicities in the Mohawk Valley. The event will be held at the Oneida
County History Center, 1608 Genesee Street, Utica, this Saturday,
October 5, at 1-3 pm.
The Hispanic Heritage month celebration will feature special guests
Assembly Member and NYS Puerto Rico / Hispanic Task Force Chair, Karines
Reyes, and local Rome Latina leader, Ms. Feidy Miner. There will be
delicious foods from Latino cultures, musical performances by Ritmo
Caribeno Youth Group dancers for everyone to enjoy of all ages.
