Demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world through Operation Christmas Child on Saturday, November 9th at 10am at the Vernon Baptist Church (11 Mill Street, Vernon NY) for fellowship and filling shoebox gifts! Shiloh Bible Church (5204 W. Seneca St. Vernon, NY) is teaming up with Vernon Baptist Church to share in a fun morning shoebox packing. Snacks and all shoe-box materials will be provided.
Operation Christmas Child blesses children around the world with gift-filled shoeboxes. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization headed by Franklin Graham. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 168 million shoe-boxes to children in over 160 countries and territories. For many of these children, the gift-filled shoebox is the first gift they have ever received.
