The Kirkland Art Center is pleased to announce an OPEN CALL seeking a guest dancer to for our annual Spring Dance Performance.

 

We are seeking an extraordinary dancer with strong professional experience who is ready for an exciting position that will allow them to continue to grow as artists while making a positive impact on current dance students at the Kirkland Art Center and the local community.

The selected guest dancer will have the opportunity to work and collaborate with our highly-qualified instructors on development and performance. The guest dancer will receive a flat-rate payment for their rehearsal and performance time only. They will be responsible for their own transportation, food, and accommodations.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Familiar with or experience performing the role of: Paquita Repertoire; the Minkus Pas de Trois and the role of Lucien
  • Male, 16 years of age or older

Successful applicant must be available: May 14th – 19th 2018

*Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from the Kirkland Art Center

Important Dates and Times:

Application Deadline:    Friday,March 16th 2018

Applications Notified:    Friday, March 23rd 2018

Auditions:                    March 30th – April 6th 2018

(Candidates will be contacted and scheduled based on availability.)

Rehearsals with instructor and students: Monday, May 14th– Friday, May 18th:

Spring Dance Performance:          Saturday, May 19th
