The Mohawk Valley Community College Office of the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) will host an Open House on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Wilcox Hall, Room 225, on the Utica campus.
SUNY’s Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program is designed to promote academic achievement and excellence through comprehensive support services, including academic advising, collaborative learning workshops, mentoring, and networking opportunities. The program helps prepare students for success at MVCC and beyond.
EOP provides access, academic support, and financial assistance to first-time, full-time students who demonstrate potential for college success and may benefit from additional support throughout their academic journey.
Open House Schedule
- Breakfast: 10–10:30 a.m.
- EOP Presentation: 10:45–11:30 a.m.
Learn about program benefits, eligibility requirements, and the application process. - Talk and Tour: 11:30 a.m.–noon
Campus tour led by current EOP students and staff. - Lunch: Noon–1 p.m., Resident Dining Hall
- Workshop: 1–2 p.m.
Assistance completing the EOP Financial Information Form.
