Albany County officials reported the loss of two other residents from COVID-19 on Saturday.
One was a woman in her 50s and the other was a man in his 60s.
This comes as more than 200 new positive cases were identified since Friday, bringing the seven-day daily average of new cases to more than 180.
There were also nine new hospitalizations, making for a total of 63 county residents currently hospitalized. Ten of them are in the ICU.
Currently, more than 71.1% of the county is fully vaccinated.
County Executive Dan McCoy says they have had success in the school-based clinics, which have administered over 1,500 shots over the last month.
He also encouraged anyone who has not gotten a vaccination to do so as soon as possible.
