Onondaga County expanding vaccine clinics this week

With the roll out of COVID-19 vaccine booster shots for more people, Onondaga County health officials will be expanding their vaccine clinics this week.

Clinics will now be at the County Civic Center, the Oncenter and the War Memorial.

Civic Center clinics will be held this Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and again in the afternoon from 1 until 3 p.m.

The clinic will be offering first and second doses, as well as booster shots.

The clinics are for those 12 and up and it’s strongly encouraged you register for an appointment in advance.

A limited number of walk-ins will be taken.

Meanwhile, the clinics at Oncenter and War Memorial will be Moderna booster shots only.

They will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Registration is required for these clinics and you can make your appointment online.
