Rick Ross Gifts His Son William Roberts lll A Wingstop


Rapper and business mogul Rick Ross recently gifted his son a Wingstop franchise for his 16th birthday. The 45-year-old opened his first Wingstop franchise location in 2011 in Memphis, TN, announced on his Instagram he purchased his son William L. Roberts III his own franchise.

“Everyone wish my son @mmgbigbank [a] Happy 16th birthday!” he wrote in the caption of the post. “Today he became the owner of his 1st @wingstop franchise. You’re now officially a BOSS!!! Keep going.”

Ross owns at least 25 Wingstop restaurants according to AfroTech with each locations bringing in $200,000 each year in sales. All the franchises were reported to have brought in $7 million in 2014.

The rapper’s oldest son has been making a name for himself in sports. Earlier this year, 247Sports reported that Roberts III got his first two verbal scholarship offers with Miami and Syracuse. As a freshman, he played on varsity for a Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas team that won the 7A state title and went 8-1 during the season.
