September 14, 2020-The National Federation of Independent Business, “The voice of small business,” endorsed Marianne Buttenschon for re-election to the New York State Assembly.
“To recover our economy and way of life, lawmakers from both houses and both parties must prioritize real solutions to help struggling small businesses,” the National Federation of Independent Business stated upon release.
The NFIB’s support of Assemblywoman Buttneschon is notable. She’s one of only seven members of the Assembly’s Majority endorsed by the largest small business organization in America.
In a statement endorsing Buttenschon, NFIB State Director Greg Biryla said:
“The state legislative incumbents and candidates endorsed by NFIB’s NY PAC have demonstrated their commitment to the small businesses in their communities and will be champions for an economic recovery that starts on the Main Streets across our state.”
Assemblywoman Buttesnchon represents hundreds of small businesses in Frankfort, Floyd, Rome, Whitestown, Utica and Marcy. She serves on the Assembly Agriculture and Economic Development Committees, both vital to the recovery and growth of Upstate New York.
