50 Forward Mohawk Valley joins the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce, its government and community partners to officially cut the ribbon for the newly renovated West Side Center!
50 Forward received $2.1 million to complete the renovation and $10,000 grant for a Technology Center at the West Side Center.
The $2.1 million renovation funding was secured through several partners: The City of Utica of $1 million, $500,000 each from Oneida County and the Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties, and $100,000 from State of New York secured by Assemblywoman Buttenschon. In addition, $10,000 was granted by the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York’s Age-Friendly: Go Local grant for the new Technology Center. The West Side Center will offer additional space for the growing programs and services for older adults in the area.
