Utica Common Council Moves to Launch Growest Investigation

Utica, NY – In a surprise move at a special meeting of the Common Council held 4:15pm yesterday at City Hall, the city’s Finance Committee voted to take out of Committee and the full council passed the amended Resolution calling for the state comptroller, the state attorney general and the U.S. Department of Justice to launch an investigation into the GroWest case. The Resolution must now be signed by the Mayor before moving on to the NYS State Comptroller, the NYS Attorney General and the US Dept. of Justice for consideration.
