UTICA, NY – The Utica Phoenix, the 10 year old, weekly print publication of For The Good, Inc., has launched its new and redesigned website. The site was ravaged by hackers in March and as much material was lost a complete rebuild was necessary.

The relaunch of the website is accompanied by the addition of former Oneida County Legislator, Larry Tanoury, Jr., to the staff. Tanoury is now the City Editor of the publication. Tanoury’s focus will be on city politics and government and brings with him, not only his experience in the political field and multi-media, but a refined knowledge and a deep love for the City of Utica.

The new online version includes an improved layout, an emphasis on daily reporting and press releases, local blogs of interest, multimedia presentations and additional opportunities for advertising. The weekly print version that everyone has enjoyed over the years will continue to grow and expand with new coverage of local politics and governmental issues of regional and national impact.

Over the next few weeks additional changes will continue to take place, such as a new website address, www.uticaphx.com. Keep a look out for these new additions to the local media terrain and remember, Catch the fire. Read the Phoenix!
