Assemblywoman Claudia Tenney and the Town of Walden Mayor Brian Maher participated in a debate for the Republican Primary for the newly formed 101st Assembly District this morning on the local talk show, “Talk of the Town.”
The debate was moderated by Talk of the Town hosts Mark Piersma and Frank Elias and covered such topics as minimum wage, hydro-fracking, and the 2% property tax cap.
This is the only scheduled Primary debate for the sprawling Assembly district, that reaches from Oneida County south to Orange County, before Thursday’s primary vote.
The winner of Thursday’s vote will face Herkimer County Democratic Chairman Dan Carter.
The Talk of the Town can be found on 100.7 FM WUTQ and broadcasts out of Utica New York.
