The Mohawk Valley Institute for Learning in Retirement (MVILR at SUNYIT) will kick off the 2012 fall semester and new academic year with a welcoming reception on Wednesday, September 19. All MVILR members, new and returning, and those who wish to sign up, are invited to attend this morning event at the Campus Center MVILR Suite 229.
“With sixty-six courses to choose from, we’re sure there’s something for everyone,” said Ann Maher, MVILR Interim Director. “In addition, the MVILR Suite in the SUNYIT Campus Center is a great place to share coffee and conversation with friends, new and old.”
Guests will be able to join MVILR and choose courses. Current members may sign up for additional courses as space permits.
The kick-off event marks the beginning of the 16th year for the MVILR program on the SUNYIT campus.
The event, 10 a.m. until noon, will include welcoming remarks, refreshments, campus tours, and an opportunity to meet MVILR members, facilitators and staff. Bring a friend. All are welcome.
The Fall 2012 MVILR Course Catalog is now available on line. Visit: www.sunyit.edu/mvilr or call the MVILR office at 792-7192.
