Offices in Utica, Auburn are drop-off sites for nonperishable food, personal care items
UTICA, N.Y. – U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna (NY-24) today announced that he’s commissioning a week-long care drive to collect donations for area veterans in Utica and Auburn.
The drive will take place from Monday, July 23 through Monday, July 30 and donations will go to Feed Our Veterans and Chapel House Homeless Shelter. Those interested in participating in the drive should bring nonperishable food and personal care goods, such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, etc.
“We often see care drives during the holidays and we must remember that our veterans need assistance all year long,” Rep. Hanna said. “No gift is too small and it is my hope that we can make a great donation to these organizations that are dedicated to assisting our veterans.”
